Lloyd WilsonWhen Lloyd was a high school student, he was honored as a "Young Citizen." He received this award because of outstanding service to civic and community affairs and school-oriented activities. Lloyd was Student Body President at Woodrow Wilson High School. He served on the Student Advisory Council for the San Francisco Board of Education and the Black Students' Union. He was Student Coordinator for the Institute of Cultural Affairs. He played football and tennis, and was a member of the Boy Scouts of America. He received the World Affairs Scholarship of WWHS. As a political science major at Hawaii Loa College in the mid-'80s, Lloyd continued his involvement in civic and school activities.
