Hi Webcast
Team & Tim Klassen
Thanks for a great and professional looking site. I would,
however, like to echo the sentiments of Tim Klassen (Team
Manager - Team Canada) : where are the results? At least a
listing of the medal standings would be nice. I know the South
African team are proud of our 18 medals from a team of 18
athletes. Tim - beat that if you can!! ;-) I think it would
be nice to compare against other countries to see how we all
did and to set our sites for the next games in Japan.
Thanks again, webbies,
Dr. Joe

Great job
on the web-site and the coverage of the World Transplant Games.
These were my first games and I had a great time. It is wonderful
to be able to look back on the many memories which we will
have for a lifetime! I'm looking forward to my second games
in Kobe, Japan. See you there.

To all
the gang at Transweb and to all the participants in Budapest
It is now post-games and I am back in Toronto and back at
the office. Just taking a little re-visit to the Games via
the site and wanted to express my thanks and congratulations
to everyone involved - the athletes, supporters, and the Transweb
people. You all were winners and a real joy to deal with and
be around. My only problem is that I cannot access any results
via the webpage. Any ideas or suggestions?

Just like
to wish all the athletes in Budapest 'Good Luck!' My Mum (Jean
Roberts) is representing Great Britain in her first World
Games and we are all delighted and very proud of her achievements.
Unfortunately, the media here choose not to cover such a worthy
event and so it is only through Transweb that we can experience
some of the fun and excitement which is taking place in Hungary.
So keep up the good work Transweb and Good Luck to the 'Auld
Yin' in the swimming!

Glad to
finally find your site - there isn't a link form the NKF page
to you but the office let me know your URL - maybe you can
get them to put a link up so others can find you. Keep up
the great work. How about some pics of our U.S. team and individual
athletes - I didn't see any coverage of them in the Opening
Ceremonies collection. And a BIG Hi to TeamSoCal!!!! Cheers,

Good Evening:
It is now 20:15 hours, September 6, 1999, in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan,
Canada, and I just logged onto the website. What a great idea
to transport information on the games to everyone (or at least
everyone who has a computer and an internet connection). Good
luck to all the participants and a special good luck to all
those representing Canada. For all those Canadian football
fans, Hamilton defeated Montreal, Saskatchewan defeated Winnipeg,
and, Edmonton defeated Calgary (a free gift from Calgary who
refused to kick a field goal to tie the game, but, instead
chose to gamble at the one yard line on the last play of the
game, and, guess what, they blew it).

Great job,
TransWeb team! Covering the Games is a great way to continue
to raise awareness of the need for donors. Your photographers
seem to have the gift of capturing the spirit of both the
Games and the generosity of the Hungarian people.

Congratulations
to everyone there at the World Games. Through Transweb's efforts
we back home are able to follow you over there and I must
say feel like we are missing out on a really fun filled event
by not being there in person. The opening ceremonies' music
and dancing (not to mention the home town hospitality) looks
and sounds wonderful (through the sight and sounds of the
Transweb website). Have a really great Games. The service
you are doing in educating the world of the success of the
organ transplant process can be measured in the lives saved
through the increased donations that follow you. Keep up the
good work, Ellie, Bob, and the whole web team - we are depending
on you and I have to say, the first day's efforts are wonderful....

Hello to
all in Budapest! I just finished listening to the "Parade
of Athletes" and the "Opening Ceremonies Address" and I have
to say it made my eyes misty. I felt like I was there and
I was really wishing I was. These are the first games I have
missed since Singapore, due to circumstances unrelated to
health, and when my Canadian Team members were preparing to
go it was heartbreaking. But to be able to read the updates
and to listen to events is just fantastic. A job well done
to all of you. I am looking forward to each days events and
feeling like I am there with everyone. Keep up the good work
and if you see a crazy Canuck please say hi for me and good
luck!
Sincerely,
Steve Moore
