Food Service
Food Service
Food service is provided in the University Union in a food court setting, which
will be open from 6:30 a.m. until 7:00
p.m. Participants will be able to choose from a variety of food options including
heart healthy and salt sensitive
options. Sack lunches can also be purchased through this system for those who
will be attending off-campus venues. For
all Games participants, food service on campus will work on a declining balance
card system. Participants will
purchase a card coded with the amount of food service purchased. This card can be
used at any of the food service
outlets in the University Union and for any meal desired (except special event
activities) including a late-night
convenient store located in the residence halls. The following amounts are
recommended (based on the four night
package): On-campus residents: $60; Off-campus participants (lunch and dinner
only): $40. Additional funds in any
denomination can be added to the card on-site and individuals can purchase meals
using cash at any time.
