Dr. White, a graduate of the UM Center for the Study of Higher and Postsecondary Education, is Assistant Dean for Medical Education and Assistant Professor of Medical Education at the University of Michigan.

Dr. White’s teaching experience includes curriculum design, active and team-based learning, assessment and measurement in higher education, and instructional methods in professional education. Her primary research interests include teaching and assessment beliefs and methods that foster cognitive and professional development, and self-assessment and self-regulated learning in professional education.
