Event-Onset continued:

• Onset is abrupt, rapid and regular. This would fit SVT, but it would also fit Panic.
• Although you will usually have the patient describe their palpitation, it is well known from diaries taken during ambulatory monitoring, that patients' subjective observations are notoriously inaccurate.
• The most common arrhythmia which correlates with "palpitation" during ambulatory monitoring is sinus tachycardia.
