Associated symptoms continued:

• The patient´s fluttering is probably not going to be due to a tachyarrhythmia.
• But, she is an ideal candidate for ambulatory monitoring, particularly now when she is especially symptomatic.
• Don´t be disappointed if there is not a perfect correlation between symptoms and her premature beats, however.
• If nothing turns up with a 24 hour sample, you can always use an event recorder.
