Setting continued:

• Typically premature beats are noticed more when the patient is sedentary and are not felt during physical activity.
• As noted in the exercise laboratory, however, baseline VPBs and APBs often do go away as the heart rate increases during treadmill exercise;
• So there may be more to it than just the patient´s level of perception.
