Health & Well-Being Services are dedicated to helping UMHS faculty

Employee Health Service
EHS is the occupational health clinic for UMHHC employees. This is where hospital and health center faculty, staff, and volunteers, and Medical School faculty who work at UMHHC or have patient care responsibilities go for treatment of work-related injuries or illnesses. EHS also provides required immunizations, screenings and health education and counseling to help you avoid injury and stay well.

MWorks Occupational Health Clinic
Medical School faculty and staff who do not have patient care duties or work in patient care buildings at UMHHC receive work-related health care at the MWorks Occupational Health Clinic which is located next to the Emergency Room at University Hospital.

MFit Employee Wellness Program
The MFit EWP provides programs to educate, motivate and inspire employees to make healthier choices to improve overall quality-of-life. MFit programs are available to help you eat healthier, quit smoking, manage alcohol consumption, increase physical activity, manage your weight and learn more about health related issues, including our smoke-free environment.

Employee Assistance Program
The EAP provides confidential, no cost counseling, crisis management, consultations and community linkage services for work-related and personal concerns encountered by UMHS employees and their immediate family members. In addition, the program offers unit or department specific interventions to enhance workplace satisfaction and performance.

MFit Health Education Resource Center
The HERC is a comprehensive lending library of books, pamphlets, CDs, and audio and video tapes, as well as many other health care resources. Located at the East Ann Arbor Health Center, the resources of the HERC are available to UMHS employees, as well as patients and health care providers.

The Child Care Center
The CCC is a complete child care and early childhood development program for infants through kindergarten-aged children of UMHS employees.
