MWorks Services for Employers Discontinued
Due to the increasingly difficult economic climate in the state of Michigan, the University of Michigan Health System was
forced to make mid-year budget reductions to maintain financial viability. Unfortunately, these cuts include the
discontinuation of MWorks Occupational Health and Disability Management services for employers effective January 31, 2009.
We are committed to assisting our current customers with their transition to new service providers.
Occupational Health Clinical Services Continue for U-M Campus
MWorks will continue to provide occupational health clinical services to the University of Michigan faculty and staff as
part of the U-M’s MHealthy employee health and well-being program. Ergonomic and occupational therapy services also will
continue to be provided for U-M faculty and staff through the MHealthy program. Details will be announced as available.
Transitioning Patient Records
As of February 1, 2009, new patients from employers external to the U-M will no longer be accepted and existing patients
need to be transitioned to another service. We are committed to working with our customers in transferring employee
records to a new service provider. For assistance, please contact the following individuals:
