Below is an up-to-date list of fundraising events to benefit C.S. Mott Children's Hospital. The list includes events sponsored by Mott Hospital as well as those supported by community organizations. We update this list regularly, so please check back often.

Cooking with Community: Ross Recipes (Cookbook)

This cookbook features over 100 recipes submitted by Ross School of Business Faculty and Staff. All proceeds will go to Mott Children's Hospital and benefit the Child and Family Life Department. These cookbooks make a great gift! $15.00 for one cookbook, $30.00 for two, and $40.00 for three! Cookbooks are available in Mott Community Relations (F2519) or on the 8th level of Mott in the Family Resource Center for a limited time only. Cash and checks (made payable to the University of Michigan) are accepted. Please call 734-764-6874 with any questions.

Get your teeth whitened at a discount and help raise money for Mott

Dates: March 1 - July 31
Description: Participate in Dr. Sasaki's Dental Spa Center "Smiles for Life Program." Get your teeth whitened using their tray style at home system from March 1 through June 30th and 100% of the proceeds benefit charity….with 50% benefiting the Child Life Department at Mott Children’s Hospital. The whitening is valued at $400 but you pay only $200 and the system is guaranteed to lighten your teeth 5 to 7 shades. Cash, checks, credit cards and monthly options of $50.00 a month for 4 months are available through a credit card or checking account. Anyone is eligible so pass the word on to family and friends. Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation's (JDRF) Walk to Cure Diabetes

Date: Sunday, Sept. 14th
Location: Hudson Mills Metro Park in Dexter.
Description: This is a family oriented Walk (3.5 miles) that raises funds to find a cure for diabetes and its complications through the support of research. In addition to UMHS serving as a Bronze Level Sponsor of the Walk, Dr. Robert P. Kelch (Executive Vice President for Medical Affairs, University of Michigan CEO, University of Michigan Health System) is this years' Corporate Chairman.

Children's Health Night at Comerica Park: Detroit Tigers vs. Toronto Blue Jays

Date: August 12
Description: The Detroit Tigers are fundraising with the U-M C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital to benefit the campaign to build a new children's hospital and women's hospital. Please join us at Comerica Park for Children’s Health Night, Tuesday, August 12, at the 7:05 p.m. game vs. the Toronto Blue jays. Kids (14 and under) will receive a free ride on the Ferris wheel or Carousel!
Tickets: Tickets are $20 and are available by emailing samh@med.umich.edu, calling 734-936-9134, or mailing in the attached ticket order form (MS Word). Tickets for bus transportation from Mott Hospital to Comerica Park are available at $16 a seat, these are non-refundable.
For every ticket sold by Mott, $9 will benefit the campaign to build a new children's and women's hospital. Tickets must be purchased by July 11, 2008.

Big House Big Heart Run

Date: Race - Sunday Sept. 28, Expo - Sept 27.
Description: The race starts and finishes at the University of Michigan’s famous football stadium--The Big House. It is the largest stadium in the country seating over 107,000 spectators. This chip-timed 5K starts in the parking lot east of The Big House and the run takes you through the University of Michigan’s beautiful campus with a spectacular finish--a run through the Big House tunnel and onto the field. You’ll finish on the 50 yard line and watch yourself on the Big House Big Screen!
