Out of the blue, a second chance.
He's always loved superheroes, but his own superhero debut came out of the blue. When Braedon became unexpectedly ill in August 2009, his family thought he had the flu. Over the next few days, he became very tired, lethargic and developed a strong yellow hue to his skin and eyes. After a visit to U-M C.S. Mott Children's Hospital, Braedon was diagnosed with acute liver failure and put on the donor list. Doctors predicted they had just one week to find a donor to save his life. Within 15 hours, a donor was found and Braedon was given a second chance at life.
