Requests for transport of deceased patient to the morgue are made after completion of post mortem care by calling 6-4610 (excluding Emergency department, Radiation Oncology, MPU, OR and PACU's).  Please make every effort not to detain transporters who are picking up morgue patients.  Two transporters are dispatched for each morgue transport, one retrieves the patient from the unit and one holds the elevator to expedite transport to the morgue.
