Dr. Marisa Miceli


Description of Research: Marisa Miceli

Dr. Miceli is a member of the Transplant Infectious Diseases service that provides inpatient and outpatient consultation for patients with infections after solid-organ or hematopoietic stem-cell transplantation. She has completed specific training in the diagnosis and management of infections in the immunocompromised transplant patients. As a member of the Transplant Infectious Diseases service, Dr. Miceli works closely with the transplant teams and pharmacists.
Her research interest includes the epidemiology and management of emerging opportunistic infections in the immunocompromised host with a particular interest in invasive fungal infections.
