The Division of Allergy and Clinical Immunology at the University of Michigan is part of the academic Department of Internal Medicine and is dedicated to providing quality patient care, high-level investigative research, and resident training.

Patient Care

We are leaders in the diagnosis and treatment of allergic and immunologic conditions from simple to complex, including drug allergies and reactions, anaphylaxis (bee sting and food reactions), chronic sinusitis and nasal polyposis, asthma, nasal allergy, hives, allergic dermatitis, eczema, food allergies, immune deficiencies, occupational allergies, mastocytosis, hereditary angioedema, and other complex disorders of the immune system. 

Research

Our faculty and fellows are committed to finding new ways to manage and treat patients with food allergies and other immunologic disorders through basic, translational, and clinical research.

Education and Training

Our Allergy and Immunology Fellowship Training Program is designed to provide advanced training in the discipline following the completion of an Internal Medicine and/or Pediatric Residency. The division also has regularly scheduled conferences including a weekly research conference, and monthly grand rounds, journal club, and seminars.
