U-M Geriatrics ranks 4th in U.S. News & World Report
This year's edition of the U.S. News & World Report medical school rankings again confirms that the U-M Medical School is among the very best in the nation. U-M is listed 12th among research-oriented medical schools, and 8th for primary care training.
In the U.S. News specialty rankings, U-M Geriatrics is listed 4th among the top academic programs in the nation, up three spots from last year.
Overall, the University of Michigan Hospitals and Health Centers placed in the national top tier in 15 different medical specialties, including geriatrics. This is the 22nd year in a row that UMHS has been recognized for strong across-the-board performance on a national level.
