I’m proud that we can offer our patients world-class care, including amazing support staff and state-of-the-art facilities. Our close relationship with the Adult Emergency Services allows us to learn from our adult colleagues in many ways. For example, we come together to review the newest advances in difficult airway management, in point of care ultrasound, and in research and medical education. As Pediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM) fellows we have the unique opportunity to care for both underserved and medically complex patient populations; preparing us for any environment after graduation. Most of all, the people we work with make this fellowship great. This is a supportive environ- ment to thrive in our chosen areas of research and to develop a niche for ourselves in the world of PEM.
