The Comprehensive Diabetes Center at the University of Michigan Health System supports a long tradition of excellence in education and research in health care, serving the University of Michigan and the surrounding communities. The innovative research conducted by our physicians and faculty has paved the way for more effective methods of prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of diabetes and its related complications.

Numerous education programs that are provided to our faculty are also open to medical professionals from around the University and beyond. Our Continuing Medical Education network offers over 100 single lectures annually through our Clinical Conference and Research Conference series and our Diabetes Grand Rounds Seminars. Video recordings of some of our special lectures are also available online.

We also host occasional major half-day or day-long conferences and symposia on diabetes topics for health professionals. For more information, consult the news section of our website.
