Diabetes in the School 101: A Program for School Personnel
This educational offering will provide information to school personnel about caring for a child with diabetes. The format will consist of presentations and opportunity for hands-on practice. Topics to be covered include diabetes basics, blood glucose testing, insulin therapy, nutrition, insulin pumps, legal issues related to diabetes in the school, and hypo and hyperglycemia.

There is no charge for this presentation, but pre-registration is required.
