What to Ask Your Scholars.
If you are reading this section, your child has either already shown some interest or you may have noticed a certain skill he/she possesses, which leads you to believe that he/she would be successful in a career in health care. Regardless of your situation, you want to make sure that your child makes an educated decision toward a rewarding career path.
To help steer your scholar in the right direction, you can start by asking several questions at the beginning of his/her high school career or as graduation approaches. How much does your child know about health care in general? What does your child like about health care most? What are some of your child's skills? Does your child excel in and enjoy subjects such as biology, chemistry and physics?
We recommend you visit www.mhc.org as you assist your scholar in developing a clear career plan.
