Working in Rehabilitation at UMHS means improving the quality of life for patients and bringing independence back into their everyday lives as much as possible. Our Rehabilitation team is made up of Physical and Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, as well as Athletic Trainers within our MedSport Sports Medicine group.

We utilize advanced therapy techniques and the latest research and treatment tools to accommodate a patient population of all age groups and activity levels. We offer a clinical ladder for employees, as well as continuing education at a leading academic institution and a challenging environment. What's more, our MedSport program allows you to focus on outpatient orthopaedic sports injuries and conditions. Here's what you'll need to get started. OTs, PTs, SLPs, ATCs and Therapeutic Recreational Therapists all need a high school diploma, an Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree and further education for high-level positions.
