Each downloadable logo file contains .eps and .png files. Use the guidelines below to learn about different file options and uses.
An EPS file, also known as a vector file, is best used in Adobe software. These files are infinitely scalable and best to use when creating a large item. Use these for print pieces such as banners, apparel, promotional items and more. The background in EPS files is transparent and the color formula used is CMYK.
With a transparent background, these files are ideal for web and other on-screen use, as well as the preferred file type for Microsoft products (Word, Power Point). Color formula is RGB.
Jpg files have a white background. RGB color formula and low resolution make these best for web or on-screen use, not print.
For more explanation of the CMYK/RGB color formulas and their uses, please see the color page.
