M NET, UMHS Referring Physician Fax Network
M NET is the University of
Michigan Health System 's Referring Physician Fax Network.
Currently there are over 10,000
participating physicians on the fax network from across
the state of Michigan and northern Ohio. The primary objective
of M NET is to send clinical reports to physicians as
quickly as possible regarding patients they have referred
to the Health System.
These reports include:
- Admission and Discharge notification
- Cardiology Reports
- Clinic notes
- E.R. notes
- Gastroenterology Reports
- Neurology Reports
- No-show notification
- O.R. notes
- Outpatient appointment notices
- Pathology reports
- Physician letters
- Pulmonary Reports
- Radiology reports
- Vascular Lab reports
